Catlin is now the largest syndicate at Lloyd's, based on 2007 stamp capacity and is a recognized leader in over 30 classes of specialty insurance around the world.

With an emphasis on financial results and accountability, the Catlin Group has remained firmly committed to underwriting profitably, not sheer growth in premium. During years of aggressive rate competition, the syndicate has held its capacity stable, while it has increased premium volume significantly when rates harden. As a result, AM Best Company has awarded the company with a rating of 'A' (Excellent).
Locally Focused, Globally Represented
The Catlin Group maintains four major platforms; The Catlin Syndicate at Lloyds, Catlin Bermuda, Catlin UK, and most recently Catlin USA. Many of its offices can write business on behalf of one or more of these platforms, providing a network of international insurance providers who provide truly local insurance solutions that are backed by the Catlin group’s platform systems and standards.
